1. SCOPE:

1.1
The following specifications pertain to the application of the SkateMaster Coating System for In-Line Hockey.


2. SURFACE PREPARATION:

2.1
New asphalt surfaces must cure 30 days prior to application. The surface must be cleaned entirely of dust, dirt, debris, and all loose materials.

2.2
Fill all cracks with Acrylic Crack Patch, or other suitable crack filler.

2.3
Level depressions or "bird baths" (? inch or deeper) with SportMaster Acrylic Patch Binder or Acrylic Resurfacer patching mix.

2.4
Apply one coat of SportMaster Acrylic Resurfacer in accordance with manufacturer's mixing and application instructions.
Important - The sand used in the Acrylic Resurfacer should be a 70 mesh or finer. Extremely porous asphalt may require a second coat of resurfacer.


3. APPLICATION OF SKATEMASTER:

3.1
Over properly prepared asphalt surface, apply two coats of SkateMaster coating in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.


4. LINE MARKINGS:

4.1
All line markings shall be laid out in accordance with The National In-Line Hockey Association guidelines.

4.2
Apply one or two coats of SportMaster Line Paint.
